The Patek Philippe reference 3417 is a very important timepiece for the manufacture and many watch enthusiast. There are many reasons to the success of the model and the greatest reason of all is it being the first and only tool watch that Patek Philippe have ever created.
Only available for a short period of ten years from 1958 to approximately 1970, the reference 3417 is nicknamed the "Amagnetic" for it's ability to run with minimal deviation when exposed to a certain level of magnetic field. This was made possible as the watch features an additional soft iron inner case back and in some cases anti-magnetic components to the escapement.
A reference of important significance to Patek Philippe, the watch will be a joy to wear for all collectors and this example is in very original and crisp condition.
