First introduced in 1959 to replace ref. 6542, the iconic GMT-Master ref. 1675 was in production until 1980. Popularly known as the 'Pepsi' due to its red and blue metallic bezel, the present example displays a gilt gloss dial with underline below the SCOC text at 6 o’clock and features characteristic pointed crown guards present on earlier models. It dates to 1963, just before Rolex replaced the gloss with matte dials for the reference.
