The Rolex Daytona family of watches has over the years become synonymous with motor racing and with the Rolex brand itself. Being the only traditional chronograph manufactured by the brand for over half a century, the Daytona of today as a model has branched out into many configurations to appeal to all collectors, with different material, dial and strap combinations. The present watch is encased in full Everose gold, Rolex’s proprietary rose gold blend that is claimed to never change colour over time like other rose gold blends. With a matching gold bracelet and rose gold detailing on the dial, this watch does not lack in impact on the wrist and is a statement piece perfect for dressy or casual attire.

It is interesting to note that the previous owner of the watch requested it be modified, so the present watch features a fully brush finished case and bracelet with no polished surfaces to be seen. This gives the watch an altogether sportier feel on the wrist, and as a result also shows less signs of wear than a polished watch would.
