The present watch is an early example of the Aero-Compax by Universal Geneve. The watch features a distinctive dual crown case with chronograph pushers, with the crown at 9 o’clock controlling the 12 o’clock sub-dial displaying a memento dial which can be operated completely independently according to the user’s needs.
The dial on the watch has aged from the original silvered to a creamy and uniform taupe colour, and paired with the crisp case with original engraved case back offers collectors the chance to own an early and unusual Universal chronograph with memento dial in excellent condition.
