Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin in 2012 in steel and pink gold, but it wasn’t until 2016 that a Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin was available in platinum. Despite being produced in the noblest of metals, it wears its luxury discreetly, with smoked and graduated grey ‘Tapisserie’ dial concealing the exceptionally thin movement, manual wound caliber 2924 with Tourbillon cage visible at 6 o’clock.
