Description
A Dutch silver tazza, maker's mark a star-like device, Enkhuizen, 1629 and possibly later
the circular raised bowl engraved with the capture in 1628 of the Spanish, silver fleet in the bay of Matanza, Cuba and centred by a cast roundel of the Binding of Isaac, on a bracketed vase stem engraved with strap work and applied with corded rings pendant from grotesque masks, the domed base embossed and chased with cherub's marks and fruit clusters between stamped ovolo borders

de forme ronde, gravée de la capture en 1628 de la flotte espagnole dans la baie de Matanza, à Cuba, et centrée d'un médaillon représentant le Sacrifice d'Isaac, le fût en forme de vase gravé de rinceaux et appliqué d'anneaux suspendus à des masques de grotesques, la base bombée, estampée et ciselée de motifs de chérubins et de grappes de fruits entre des bordures d'oves
