the rounded body rising from three columnar legs to a lipped rim, surmounted by upright loop handles, embellished with gold and silver inlays to depict taotie masks below a border of confronting stylised dragons, the legs decorated with archaistic scrolling dragons, the interior incised with a three-character inscription, carved wood stand and cover with a jade finial in the form of a mandarin duck
