清十八 / 十九世紀 剔紅雲龍紋開光山水人物圖坐墩一套四件


each of barrel form supported on six demilune feet, the sides with four large quatrefoil cartouches enclosing children engaged in various playful activities such as wrestling, galloping astride a hobby horse with an 'attendant', holding a parasol, marching in a procession, blowing on a suona, and waving a flag, set in a lush garden pavilion with flowering plants, small shrubs, and craggy rocks, the space between the cartouches carved with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' against a cloud ground, the top carved with a ferocious dragon amongst clouds (4)
