明 木漆金真武坐像


seated upright with a straight back and feet firmly planted in front, the hands placed over the thighs, the face directed forward with a calm expression framed by straight hair neatly combed back, wearing a long, layered robe falling open at the chest to reveal armor underneath, a court belt strapped over the top of the belly, covered entirely in red lacquer beneath gilding, save for the hair and eyes picked out in black
