A 'Huozhou' 'fish'-handled cup
the circular bowl with rounded sides supported by a short splayed foot, a flat barbed handle projecting from one side of the rim, the top surface of the handle molded with a scaly fish in profile flanked by a floral spray on each side, the vessel covered with a creamy ivory glaze save for the base, revealing the pale buff body
Width 4⅛ in., 10.3 cm
A chip at the foot approx. 0.5 cm long. Scattered glaze lines around the rim, including a vertical one approx. 1.2 cm which is possibly a hairline crack. Light abrasion to a short section of the rim, and the rim is slightly warped. Minor expected wear.
