of typical form with bracket handles and feet, moulded in relief, painted and gilt with portraits of a lady and gentleman, bust-length, turned to one side and wearing courtly dress, wihtin a roundels, the revsre with a crane and a songbird in flight, the ivory-coloured ground sprinkled with gilt, the first example with raised crowned disk mark
