oval, in Geneva taste, decorated in translucent blue enamel over sun-ray reeded engine-turning within opaque white enamel and colourful paillon borders, the lid later applied with an oval enamel plaque painted with a pastoral subject in a rose-cut diamond frame, maker’s mark, fully hallmarked for 20ct gold, in modern red leather case
