12½-inch silvered dial with outer minute track enclosing subsidiary seconds dial with observatory marks and an hours dial, signed Fletcher, Edinburgh, the massive movement with five double-screwed pillars, deadbeat escapement with jewelled pallets, high count train with six spoke wheel crossings, Harrison's maintaining power, end plates to all possible pivots except the great wheel, cranked crutch, the separately suspended pendulum with beat adjustment to the roller suspension, wood rod and massive lenticular bob, the case with shallow-arch top and canted hood corners, glazed trunk door and plain plinth with plain apron
