• Dial: small eccentric white enamel dial signedGirardier L'ainé, Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, winding aperture to edge between 2 and 3, the dial set within a silver plate chased and engraved with a pastoral scene and figures of a shepherdess and bagpipe playing gentleman, the former offering the latter a platter of fruit, catch to the side at 3 o'clock revealing a polychrome enamel painted plaque beneath depicting an amorous couple in a bedroom setting, a lakeside scene beneath

• Case: plain silver case with rope-twist effect bezel, numbered 6496 and stamped LEN within a lozenge-shaped cartouche
