Movement: gilded full plate, cylinder escapement, fusee and chain, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, polished steel end cap, silver regulation plate, two hammers repeating à toc on blocks mounted to the case band, backplate and movement rimsigned Le Roy au Palais Royal, backplate numbered no. 1061 

Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, outer ring calibrated for minutes/seconds with Arabic quarter divisions, gold beetle and poker hands, blued steel centre seconds

Case: gold, plain polished, stirrup-form pendant, case with maker's mark JD between two stars punched three times in asymmetrical and circular cartouches and incuse
