The Patek Philippe Naviquartz clocks were originally meant for use on ships and yachts, but quickly became a status symbol for one's desk. The Naviquartz III was designed specifically for home and office use and includes a presentation panel with its three-part mahogany case. Henri Stern had an early Reference 1215 engraved with his name and the date May 1, 1974.
The present lot is with an interior plaque signed "John M. Robinson 1974."
The Naviquartz III was made from 1972 through the mid-1980s.
