註:〈春雲曉靄〉寫於張大千潑墨抽象技法大盛之年。他先在紙上薄染淡赭,再敷水墨,復以石青、石綠等礦物顏料大片潑灑於上,任其在紙上不經意地流淌,畫面瞬間碧翠滿舖,葱葱鬱鬱。其色澤濃重,在水墨襯托下更顯沉艷亮麗,如寶石般絢爛悅目,亦因礦物顏料之特性,從不同光線、折射角度,見堆叠交錯間之厚薄肌理,巧妙地營造宛如風吹雲湧,霧籠青山之景。上方輕潑白粉,在黝黑湛藍中閃現一道飄帶,浮盪天際,漫不經意地營造輕如煙,淡似霧之象,連綿群山,若隱若現。全紙幾近滿塗,大千在彩墨縫隙中巧妙地「留白」,讓紙上橘黃從密不透風的空間中透出,直如破曉時份之一抹曙光,劃破靜謐,驟然璀璨。畫面尺幅恢宏,用色淋漓,虛實相融,得雄奇深邃、大氣磅礴之勢,足見畫家此時輕鬆駕馭西方抽象概念,在自創潑彩技法上掌控自如。全畫將寫就,不忘在下方點劃墨痕幾道,或山石,或林樹,著意保留少量傳統元素,埋下伏線,讓中外觀者賞畫時毋略筆墨之趣、不忘畫家之根!


「〈春雲曉靄〉是畫家在巴西時期的潑彩作品,也是他潑彩達於顛峰的鉅製,畫面大膽抽象,墨彩掀起一股狂飆的氣勢,如入無人之境,是他創作最具爆發力時期的代表作。


本幅為橫幅構圖,畫面幾乎全滿,略無留白,乍看只見墨色上堆積著大塊鮮豔的石綠,有色彩造成的視覺興奮感,但因並無任何細節描繪,會引起觀者暫時的迷失,但旋即在畫面上方看到疑似峰巒的數個山頭,左方峰巒上還有曾在傳統中國山水上出現的植物表徵,再加上畫面右下角的若干山石紋路,若非這些微小的細節輔助,讓觀眾可以將之閱讀為山水,它簡直就是純粹的抽象畫了。由於畫面的瞬間性與狂掃之姿,會令人誤以為這是即興之作或神來之筆,其實這樣的畫面效果得來不易,作畫的過程也頗耗時費日。


首先畫紙需先貼在板子上,上了膠礬後,再將其噴濕,待這些工序完成,畫家會拿著一盤調好的墨汁灑上去,再令門生晚輩將木板晃動,搖到他滿意的程度為止。大勢底定後,畫家再從遠處各個不同角度觀看一下,便胸有成竹了,他決定在右上方的山頭側影略為著墨,右下角添加起伏錯落、猶如網狀的粗筆皴紋,及一朵墨花樣的濃墨團,並在左上方光影變化處,點出極為細密團簇的苔點。然後等墨色將乾未乾之際,再趁勢將石綠及白粉傾灑上去,畫面上方就是白粉與石綠「撞擊」後,所產生的奇妙變化,忽然在沉鬱厚重的山體頂端出現了雲嵐遊移,與山巔沐浴在神秘光暈中的景象。外加有了上述細節的經營與畫龍點睛,逐漸在一片混沌中分辨出草色嵐光、山石肌理、以及濃密的樹色,一幅氣勢奔放雄渾、色彩光艷照人的潑彩山水方才大功告成。


此幅係大千在1967-68 這兩年所創作一系列無疑是他一生創作中最大膽、最具挑戰性,也最富現代性的潑彩作品之一。〈春雲曉靄〉延續著畫家1967 年在〈秋山夕照〉、〈山雨欲來〉、〈瑞士雪山〉等畫中的創作路線,畫面上與中國山水的聯繫及文化意涵已降到微乎其微。如本幅幾近抽象,只有畫面上的三方紅色印章,與上述隱約透露的細節,尚保持著和中國傳統山水的一線相通。


本幅恰如其分地在左方鈐有「闢渾沌手」一印,此語出自石濤,意謂在一片混沌中開闢出一片新天地來,石濤用他的「一畫」手闢鴻濛,大千則以潑墨潑彩的飛動,創造天地。論再現宇宙之神自然之奇,大千的豪邁氣概與曠達心胸都足以與造物者同遊。」

  • Condition of this work is generally in good condition. On the upmost left corner, there are two hairline craquelure, which could be alleviated by restoration. Near the left border, is a mild vertical crease, which could also be alleviated by restoration.
  • There appears to be paper tear at the lower left corner which has been restored, which has been there since the 1980s exhibitions when the work was still in the artist family collection. Thus should be the original state of the work.
