Some light surface soiling and traces of oxidation concentrated to the recessed contours of the design. The wood tray appears to have been refinished at some point in the history of the piece and is possibly replaced. The wood presents with scattered surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The wood tray with a very minor chip to the edge of the underside, measuring ½ inch and not visually distracting. The magazine rack presents with some minor bending and a small, stable separation to the joint of the wire rack to the upper hook, not visually distracting.
