mahogany, rosewood

38 x 58 3/4 x 16 1/2 in. (96.5 x 149.2 x 41.9 cm)

Overall in very good condition. The mahogany and rosewood surfaces throughout present with scattered surface scratches, abrasions, light crackling, indentations, small chips and surface wear, particularly concentrated to the edges as consistent with age and gentle use. As visible in the catalogue photography the proper right front corner presents with a small loss to the wood measuring approximately 4 x 1 inches, not visually distracting and which may be restored at the buyer’s discretion. The top of the cabinet presents with a small circular dent to the wood, not visually distracting. The wood presents a few fine hairline cracks that appear to have been sensitively stabilized at some point in the history of the piece, as well as other occasional evidence of prior restorations and inpainting, not visually distracting. The wood presents with light surface soiling and occasional discolorations, particularly concentrated to the edges of the shelves and interior. The interior is fitted with two drawers. This lot does not retain its key.
