of transitional style, the compressed globular body rising to a tall slender garlic neck with a slightly flaring rim, finely painted around the exterior in cobalt-blue tones with a landscape hosting soldiers riding horses, the neck with vertical bands of stylized blossoms and foliage

The vase is late in date, most likely 20th century. The base is hollow and has been fitted with a later added base of another piece bearing an artemisia leaf mark which has been sealed with plaster. Please refer to the condition photo. The rim might have been slightly polished. There is a tiny glaze nick to the mouth rim. There are also some very minor firing flaws. There are some wear to the surface. The vase is slightly leaning to the left.
