Cette œuvre figure sous le no. 115 dans la révision du Catalogue raisonné des œuvres de Mary Cassatt par Adelyn Dohme Breeskin, actuellement en préparation par le Comité Cassatt.
The work has been examined framed. The canvas is not lined and is slightly undulating. There is a milky and uneven varnish preventing UV from fully penetrating, however examination under the UV light appears to reveal horizontal lines of retouching (the longest of which is approx. 10cm long) to the upper part of the composition and a few additional small dots of retouching in places, most predominately towards the upper edge. There are some lines of stable craquelure in areas and some minor spots of paint shrinkage, notably to the lower left quadrant. There is some minor frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.
