This unique object, comprised of 2 gelatin silver prints on a double-sided card mount, is in generally excellent condition. The mount is darkened on both sides where it has long been in contact with its frame, an antique wood view plate holder. Nashville, Tennessee: When examined in raking light, a few faint fingerprints and scattered pen-point-sized impressions that do not break the emulsion are visible. The photograph is trimmed to the image, and the tips of the corners are bumped. Cincinnati, Ohio: When examined in raking light, scattered pin-point and pen-point-sized impressions that do not break the emulsion are visible. The photograph is trimmed to the image, and there is a tiny chip of emulsion at the upper and lower edge. The photographs, as framed by the photographer, are in an antique wood view plate holder which is in very good condition.
