Tibet, 15th-16th century

seated in vajrasana on a double lotus pedestal with beaded edges, the hands in bhumisparshamudra, his bare torso richly adorned with elaborate jewellery embellished with coloured stones, two further blossoms with buds flanking each shoulders, his face set in a meditative expression, crowned with an elaborate diadem encircling a high topknot and framed by a flaming mandorla
