Collection of the Vice-admiral Edmond-Louis, baron Roussin (1821-1896) who had lead a naval diplomatic and commercial mission to China in 1843. Emond Louis Roussin was Undersecretary at the ministry of Marine during the French Third Republic, then briefly minister in the Jules Simon government (1877). Theses vases passed on to his daughter after his death and have stayed in the family since then.
