of elegant ovoid form with a flared mouth and short foot, finely enamelled in a 'famille-rose' palette with two phoenix perching on rockwork issuing sprays of peonies and asters, the reverse with two cranes standing by two mandarin ducks on a small lotus pond, the base glazed
