A grisaille and gilt-decorated 'seamstress' plate
Qing dynasty, circa 1750
finely painted to the centre in encre-de-chine and partly heightened in gilt with a European lady seated in an interior doing her needlework beside a window with a vista on a river with boats, within a gilt spearhead border
