22,3 x 31,1 cm; 8¾ x 12¼ in.

Executed on fine linen, laid down on paper which is laid down on board. The linen has been unevenly cut and there are pinholes intermittently along the upper edge. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There are some abrasion and a few losses to the sheet related to previous mounting and not visible when framed. The extreme edges are slightly undulating, notably along the upper edge, consistent with the laying down process. This work appears to be in good overall condition.
