folio (315 x 210mm.), title printed in red and black, woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut initials and illustrations, early nineteenth-century half vellum over marbled boards, title-page repaired at foot, a few leaves slightly browned, wormholes in last few leaves


The woodcut illustrations previously appeared in Pincio's 1505 edition of Horace.
