with serene expression, her wavy hair parted in the center and falling in long braids behind the ears, a polos formerly on the crown of her head.

Height 16.5 cm.

As shown, pigment formerly on the hair now mostly faded away. A large shallow chip on the proper left side of her face, some encrustation in the proper right temple area. The top of the head hollow where a polos was formerly attached. With two TL test sample holes for which we don't have the results.

E.H. Goddard was headmaster of Haberdashers’ Aske  Boys School from 1932 to 1961. Previously he had been Head of Classics at Bradford Boys Grammar School. Lewis and Goddard Greek and Latin textbooks were used in many schools throughout the world.
