Overall in very good condition. When seen in person the sculpture presents with rich textural tones ranging from dark brown to dark ebony. The sculpture presents with beautiful carving and occasional surface irregularities inherent to the making. The wood with some very minor surface scratches and minute indentations throughout, some possibly inherent to the making. One side of the base with a very fine age crack to the wood, which appears stable and not visually distracting. The underside of the base with an old paper label and some light soiling.
