porcelain with manganese, pink and turquoise glaze and with inlaid lines

with the artist's cypher

3 in. (7.6 cm) high

4 ¼ in. (10.7 cm) diameter

Overall in very good condition. This charming piece with superb proportions includes beautiful turquoise glazed decoration to the interior, nicely complementing the pink and manganese color palette. The porcelain surface presents with very minor irregularities inherent to the making and to the artist’s handmade technique. One external side of the bowl above the foot with minor adhesive residue, which can be sensitively cleaned at the client’s discretion and is partially visible to the naked eye. The underside with a removable plastic label dated "1980". This lot has been inspected under UV light and presents with no apparent evidence of restoration.
