Overall in very good condition. This coveted and highly sculptural low table model displays superb presence when viewed in person, enhanced by a rich patina displaying subtle hints of green and dark olive. The patinated bronze surfaces present with minor surface irregularities and particulate inclusions which are inherent to the making and characteristic of the artist’s practice. The bronze surfaces present with occasional and very minimal verdigris and oxidation spots throughout, which are consistent with age and the natural evolution of the medium. The patina with scattered and small areas of discoloration, not visually distracting. The glass top is possibly replaced and is in excellent condition with some very light surface scratches consistent with gentle use. An exceptional table in well-preserved condition, highly complementary to other Diego Giacometti masterworks in the collection.
