The present lot is offered in its original factory sealed box.
Released in 2006, the reference 5960 is Patek Philippe's first annual calendar complication equipped with an automatic chronograph movement. The dial is well designed with a compact bull's eye chronograph counter with a built in day/night indicator. Three analog apertures display the day, date and month. In 2009, Patek Philippe introduced their own PP movement seal, and the platinum version of this model was re-launched with a blue dial. The grey version, such as the present lot, was discontinued. The present early example made in 2006 is dressed in with the earlier gray dial variation as well as the Geneva seal movement, making this a particularly coveted version for collectors today.
