Movement number: 171'609

Accessories: Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on December 5, 1914

This watch was made for the retailer Henry Oemisch in Rochester, NY as engraved on the movement, so we can expect that a very well heeled industrialist in upstate NY splurged on this for Christmas of 1914. The dial of this watch features roman numerals and an amber enamel, as opposed to the bright white enamel we normally see. The layout of the logo is simply brilliant and gives the watch an undeniably attractive symmetry. No surprise it also has a hidden hinge that opens to reveal a dust cover that further opens to present the highly finished 17 lignes caliber.
