"When I was in elementary school, I used to watch many Hong Kong Kung Fu movies, especially those movies by Bruce Lee. I remember the days when I tried to imitate Bruce Lee's gestures and fighting skills with my friends in school, whenever the TV showed Bruce's movies on the previous night. These pleasant childhood memories inspired me to create an artwork based on 'Enter the Dragon' using simple lines on skateboards, a tool which is also related to active movements." - Yu Nagaba


Yu Nagaba is an illustrator and artist. Born in Tokyo in 1976. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Design, his activities stretch over a wide range of fields, including magazines, books, advertisements, and collaborations with various brands. His previous works include collaborations with UNIQLO, ASICS, G-SHOCK, BEAMS, as well as illustrations for various clients such as Magazine House, RIMOWA, Technics, Spotify, Universal Music, and Monocle, both domestically and internationally.

「記得當我還是小學生的時候,我經常會觀看香港的功夫電影,當中當然以李小龍的作品為首。還記得小時候每當電視播映李小龍的電影,第二天我總會在學校跟朋友們一起玩模仿李小龍的遊戲,那時候快樂的兒時回憶,啟發到我把《龍爭虎鬥》的造型繪畫到滑板這個同樣充滿動作感的媒介之上。」── 長場雄


長場雄為藝術家,1976年於東京出生,畢業於東京造形大學設計學科,於雜誌、書籍、廣告、多個品牌的聯乘等多個範疇活動。由2014年開始,他開始於自己的Instagram每日上載一幅作品。過去他曾與UNIQLO、ASICS、G-SHOCK、BEAMS推出聯乘系列,也曾為Magazine House、RIMOWA、Technics、Spotify、Universal Music、Monocle等多個國內外單位繪畫插畫作品。
