Therefore, I inscribed the skateboard with the Chinese phrase meaning The Endless Pursuit of Perfection, as I believe this is not only the spirit of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals but also the pursuit of skateboarders!" - Fung Siu Wah

Fung Siu Wah (Wah Gor), born in Shunde, Guangdong, in 1948, turned his curiosity for calligraphy into a passion under parental education. Started with the calligraphy style of Ming and Qing dynasty, and advanced his studies through copybooks for the calligraphy of the Jin, Tang, Song, and Yuan dynasty, he has never restricted himself to a single style. By musing on the calligraphy of the foregone sages and associating with myriads of calligraphers of the contemporary, Wah Gor has consolidated the merits of the calligraphy of different periods. Fond of practising cursive script, he has created a unique style combining the characteristics of all schools. Wah Gor has produced inscriptions for many well-known Hong Kong movies, and he is honoured as the Calligrapher for the Film Industry.

馮兆華，筆名華戈，一九四八年出生於廣東順德。

華戈幼承庭訓，在父輩耳濡目染下對傳統書法由好奇而至酷愛，自明、清書風入門，上溯元、宋、唐、晉各朝法帖大家，不拘一格，融匯各體流派於筆下，神交前賢，廣結名師，尤喜勤習行草書風，自成一格。曾為多部經典港片題字，被喻為影壇御用書法家。
