The work is executed on eight sheets of cream wove paper which have been joined, which have then been laid down to canvas. The edges have been taped. A few wrinkles and air bubbles visible throughout the paper from the mounting process. Scattered foxing throughout the paper. Repaired tears, losses, chips and fills visible along the edges and toward the corners. The two largest of these repaired sections are in the upper left and lower right corners, measuring approximately two by two inches. The longest of the repaired tears measures eight inches, extending inward from the lower right corner. Multiple significant repaired sections in the face of the figure near the center right edge. A few nailhead-sized pigment losses in the areas of thicker pigment. Some hairline craquelure in these areas as well. Under UV light: areas of retouching visible which correspond to aforementioned repairs, losses, and fills. The work is in stable condition.
