Double-page woodcut map, (400 x 570mm.), a few small areas repaired or in facsimile, lower margin cut to neatline, slightly shaved at left margin
THE FIRST MODERN MAP OF CENTRAL EUROPE TO BE PRINTED. "It appears to be based on the lost map of the celebrated Cardinal Nicolaus de Cusa; according to Bagrow, it was made by Hieronymus Münzer" (Nordenskiöld).
