the spirally fluted handle rising from a flower-decorated terminal to chased foliage supporting the similarly decorated shaped mirror frame, bevelled mirror on one side, a glazed miniature portrait of a romantic young girl in feathered hat on the other, signed with initials CR, makers mark rubbed, French control mark, in associated morocco leather case, applied with a monogrammed shield
