APPLE CORP.

DOCUMENT SIGNED BY JOHN LENNON (TWICE), GEORGE HARRISON, AND RINGO STARR (AS RICHARD STARKEY)

Minutes of a board meeting agreeing the replacement of Henry Newfeld by Lawrence W. Boger as Secretary-Treasurer, "in connection with the termination of the Corporation's relationship with ABKCO Industries, Inc. on March 31, 1973", incomplete (final two pages only), signed by Lennon (twice), Harrison, and Starr (as Richard Starkey), 2 pages, folio (letter size), March or April 1973, encapsulated within a PSA/DNA protective holder with label (graded "MINT 9", certificate 84140233)

A BOLD AND CRISP SET OF SIGNATURES, INCLUDING TWO FINE AND CLEAR SIGNATURES BY JOHN LENNON, ON A SIGNIFICANT DOCUMENT DEALING WITH THE AFTERMATH OF THE BREAKUP OF THE BEATLES. The only flaw in the signatures is that Harrison's signature intersects with Starkey's (thus it was graded "9" rather than the highest "10" by PSA/DNA).

The appointment of Allen Klein as the manager of the Beatles in 1969 had been a key factor in Paul's decision to leave the group, but by early 1973 the other former Beatles had come to share his distrust of Klein and his business methods. Harrison was disgusted at Klein's handling of the Concert for Bangladesh, whilst Lennon was alienated by Klein's lack of support for his new work with Yoko Ono. When Klein's management contract expired on 31 March 1973 it was not renewed, and a flurry of lawsuits followed. This document resolves upon the removal of Henry Newfeld, a close business associate of Allen Klein, from a key position at Apple.
