painted with kauffahrtei scenes, the bowl with vignettes in the manner of Heintze with merchants in conversation at quaysides within quatrefoil lustred cartouches, the plain ground painted in the manner of Klinger with ombrierte insects, the interior with a coiled serpent, the teabowl and saucer with figures in landscape within gilt pelmetted cartouches, below borders reserved with purpurmalerei quatrefoil cartouches, blue crossed swords marks, gilders numeral 47. to teabowl and saucer
