A group of four similar German Baroque parcel-gilt silver beakers
different makers, Nuremberg and Augsburg
three late 17th century, one possibly late 17th century
comprising: with cover, ball feet and finial, embossed and chased with scrolling foliage and flowers, the rim contemporaneously initialled EBW, possibly Gabriel Hartig I, Augsburg, circa 1689-92, marked on body and cover, also with 1806-24 Austrian control marks; with cover, ball feet and finial, embossed and chased with fruit clusters, maker's mark a quadruped to right, Nuremberg late 17th century; with embossed emperor profiles on ball supports, Heinrich Gottfried Anton Hammon, Nuremberg, circa 1690; with embossed flowers, maker's mark probably IP, apparently Nuremberg, circa 1690
