Woven with kneeling figure of Abigail before David, asking for her husband to be forgiven and not punished, David shown relaxing in his luxuriously decorated bed chamber, with onlooking male and female figure, the background with landscape and architectural details, shows further small groupings, possibly with David shown later asking Abigail to marry him, on the death of her husband (I Sam. 25); reduced in size
