of pâte changeante-type, decorated in white slip, one vase with a winged putto holding aloft a burning heart, holding his bow in his other hand, the other vase with a female winged putto with her hands tied, with hanging trophies at the neck, with a gilt-egg and dart band below a foliate-scroll band at the rim, a further gilt foliate-scroll band at the foot, printed DÉCORÉ A SÉVRES RF monogram in iron-red, S. 72 in green lozenge, gilt initials D.L., incised mark P-Ro-V./ 72.2, indistinct incised number 1072(?)
