Possibly one of only 3 copies printed. Carl Otto Kretzschmar Von Kienbusch's typewritten diary, concerning a fishing trip at Jupitagan River, Québec.

Von Kienbusch lived his entire 91 years at 12 East 74th Street in New York City, and by the 1970s had devoted the second floor of his residence to his collection of medieval arms and armor. Von Kienbusch owned 45 miles of the Patapédia River, and moored his houseboat on it. He kept detailed journals of his fishing trips, recording them in words and sometimes photographs as well. The journals were typed and bound in leather, with the year and the river embossed on the spine, as is the case with present example. The angler cherished his month-long sojourns on the Jupitagan—a salmon river on the north shore of the St. Lawrence—which offered a reprieve from the busyness of Manhattan. After a catch, Kienbusch would toast his fellow anglers with 100-proof Wild Turkey bourbon, and then send the snow-packed salmon home to the city.
