Vol I: oblong quarto (12 1/4 x 9 3/4 in.; 310 x 250 mm). 156 silver gelatin prints (each approximately 4 5/8 x 4 1/8 in.; 115 x 100 mm) laid onto card album leaves with white-trimmed grey window mounts, some with manuscript captions; some marginal chipping to card, minor discoloration or spotting to a few images. Full red pebble-grain morocco, covers with gilt rules, rounded spine, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt; some rubbing to extremities. — Vol II: oblong quarto (12 1/4 x 9 3/4 in.; 310 x 250mm). 197 silver gelatin and albumen prints (from approximately 4 1/8 x 2 3/4 in.; 105 x 70 mm, to 11 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.; 290 x 240 mm [most 4 7/8 x 4 1/4 in.; 125 x 109 mm)] laid onto card album leaves (and in some instances mounted) with white-trimmed grey window mounts, many with manuscript captions; some marginal chipping to card, minor discoloration or spotting to a few images. Full dark brown pebble-grain morocco, covers with gilt rules, rounded spine, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt; some rubbing to extremities. Each in custom book box.
