The fortune teller:  a  soviet porcelain figure, State Porcelain Factory, Petrograd, circa 1920s


after a design by Natalia Danko, depicting gypsy fortune teller in varicoloured patterned skirt, shawl and headscarf, looking up ingratiatingly at an elegantly dressed young lady in a white and blue dress with a matching hat, with impressed hammer, sickle and a half cog factory mark, dated, red stamp 'Made in Russia'
