A Fabergé varicolour gold-mounted, silver-gilt and guilloché enamel desk clock, workmaster Henrik Wigström, St Petersburg, 1904


of rectangular form, enamelled in translucent purple over wavy engine-turning ground, the dial surmounted by ribbon tied torch trophies, applied with swags of ribbon-tied laurel wreaths, the reverse inscribed ‘Souvenir De Nandine Mars / 1908’, struck on the side, the reverse and strut Fabergé in Cyrillic, with workmaster’s initials, 91 standard, with scratched inventory number 15240
