Christie's New York, 24 October 2002,  lot 100
The design of the present lot evokes the famous Fabergé Imperial Bay Tree Easter Egg of 1911. The Imperial Easter Egg was a gift from Emperor Nicholas II to his mother, Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna and is now held in the collection of the Fabergé Museum in St Petersburg.
