A Shaded Archway

The plywood support is bowed, and the edges are slightly uneven. There are vertical cracks to the board and paint layer, and there are more pronounced cracks visible on the verso. Minor frame abrasions with associated paint loss are visible along the edges. There is a layer of surface dirt with spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed and glazed.


Mosque in Turkestan

The plywood support is bowed, and the edges are slightly uneven. Vertical cracks to the support are visible on the verso but there are only a few very minor cracks to the recto. The surface is covered in a layer of surface dirt. There are minor frame abrasions along the edges. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed and glazed.
